My blog picture above is located in the beautiful, scenic Sedona, Arizona. We vacationed there at the end of December, 2019 thru January 2020 - right around when the pandemic began. What a chaotic year it was, too! A scary time for all of us!

I am hoping that this blog will show my creativity, heart, and soul, and reveal a little more of myself. I'm a shy person at heart and don't post too much in Newsfeed, but I love reading what others are saying.

I'm off to post my first blog...

I agree! If they are going to stop Daylight Saving Time, keep it Daylight Saving Time.

I agree with you; the time change is a pain at first. They're talking about eliminating it. If they do, I hope they keep Daylight Saving Time year-round rather than Standard time. We'd get to keep all the longer, and warmer summer evenings for outdoor activities.

That's something I didn't know. I hadn't heard about U.S. pennies going away. Canada, I understand, stopped minting them a number of years ago.

Yes, no more pennies to be made. Nobody wanted to carry pennies in their billfold? Therefore, the penny jar.

We can always hope for a better future. We need a change to the same old way they do business in D.C.

Iremember that was their reason to start Daylight Savings Time. Why they keep this up is confusing.
Some states ignore this all together. I wish mine did!

Daylight savings time when it originated was to benefit farmers and seasonal workers but those days are long gone. I don't understand why it is still happening when it doesn't matter. Other than it disrupts our sleep patterns.

It takes me almost a week to adjust and then when it falls back I have to readjust... grrr.

Really, there are some still in California? Then drive-in didn't completely fall by the wayside.
I never really cared about black-and-white films. I do like sci-fi though.
The fly sounds familiar, I think I've seen it... The Hand and The Blob don't ring a bell.

There are still some around in California anyway just not many and are also usually used during the day for swapmeets on Saturday and Sundays. Many people Use to get in by the car full because it was cheaper.

Actually the invasion if the Bidy Snatchers was a black and white rerun so it had to have been made in possibly mid 1950s. It wasn't very scary. More like a Scifi.

What I got a kick if was many years later was almost better made . The Hand, The Blob. It was something to joke about.

The Fly though was classic. I like the Jeff Goldbum version of it best.

Love the Summer Temperatures in March

Our weeks here in Southern Minnesota have been peculiar. We have the usual up-and-down temperatures in the 40s and 50s, with a high of 71 thrown in the mix. It's only for a day, but who is complaining! These summer temperatures occurred on the 17th, 21st, and 26th. We love going outside without a coat and enjoy the warm weather. What's even better, I don't see any snow everywhere I look.
