I love this and I understand all these emotions and ideas. "Keeping things gentle" is perfect, both in the beginning and end of the poem, and of the process. The short lines seem to mirror last breaths.

Love hearing about the family playlist. Such a sweet poem. Love to you as you continue to grieve your brother.

We live in the neighborhood of a Catholic church, and it has been so busy!! Sadly, I will miss Easter service at my own church, but there will be joy! And possibly eggs and rabbits. Who knows?!

What a delight. I do like you and I like your teeth! Your teeth remind me of my teeth, though I did have braces; still, years make the teeth want to slide back into their natural places... I went to the dentist yesterday (probably why I chose this prompt!) re: yes, caring for them! And I always tell my kids to floss, the wisest advice I can give in life!

The dream images resonate so well. Aagghh, teeth in dreams!

I love thy rhyme and rhythm of this, and I read it several times. My graceless fall - safe from it all. Brilliant and somehow scary too. As happens with us once in a while I think we have touched on similar themes.
