Just things that I think about now and then.

This is the first blog entry for me. Hopefully I will get it right, or at least head in that direction.

I am enjoying this community immensely. I have found a few kindred souls, and so far everyone has been welcoming. I am enjoying reviewing other's work. I hope to learn as I go from the reviews of my work. It is fun to see other's points of view, and inspires me to try to do my best.

I am looking forward to my journey here on Writing.com

I'm a sun worshipper for sure so I would probably pick a Caribbean Cruise over an Alaskan one! It would be great to see Whales though, I have never seen one in the Ocean in the wild....

Alaskan cruise is on my bucket list, with day trips onshore but I definitely want my nights on ship in a toasty cabin. I don't do cold anymore. I lived 31 years in Maine I did my penance.

I remember that movie, Space Camp. I really enjoyed it. I might have to rewatch it. It was a "feel" good movie for me.

I always wanted to go to Space Camp! They even have a Family Space Camp, but that's not in our price range. The movie was actually called Space Camp lol My VHS copy of it was a favorite.

I was surprised to see it listed as the number 1 place to visit in Alabama myself in Travel and Leisure. It's not what I would have picked either.

I love looking at the stars through my telescope and sometimes with my binoculars but not once did I ever dream of being an astronaut. Though I do remember all the hype on television when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin stepped on the moon on July 20th, 1969.
