Just things that I think about now and then.

This is the first blog entry for me. Hopefully I will get it right, or at least head in that direction.

I am enjoying this community immensely. I have found a few kindred souls, and so far everyone has been welcoming. I am enjoying reviewing other's work. I hope to learn as I go from the reviews of my work. It is fun to see other's points of view, and inspires me to try to do my best.

I am looking forward to my journey here on Writing.com

I really like that last part...If someone disagrees, I'm always here for discussion; I will not argue or belittle someone else's beliefs...that's not productive. There are times I don't take part in online discussions because I don't want to argue or feel belittled.

I read the Left Behind books and enjoyed them. Are we approaching the end of times? Possibly, but I rest easy knowing I won't be left behind.

There sure is a lot going on in our world and I worry about where it's headed. I avoid thinking too deeply about it however, as it makes me anxious. But you hit the nail on the head with weather changes, political changes, and just the general attitude of so many people. It's unreal, isn't it?

I just try to live a positive life, counting my blessings every day, and avoiding anxiety as much as possible.

It's not always easy though!

We work for the Lord, horizontally, while keeping our eyes on the skies, which is the vertical look. The first-century Christians anticipated Jesus’ soon return. “Occupy until I come” still applies, today. Things are coming together. Very true. Will we live out this temporal lifetime? The Lord Alone knows, but even that doesn’t diminish the Joy of anticipating His soon and imminent Return. ❤️
