Prompt: October “The trees are in their autumn beauty, The woodland paths are dry, Under the October twilight the water Mirrors a still sky.” William Butler Yeats What do you think of October in general and what do you expect from October 2023? I am so happy that October is here at last. The summer heat is still hanging around, but I'm sure that will begin to change soon. Rain is expected this week, which is supposed to drop the temperatures into the 70's for a few days. Not long enough for me, but I'm sure the temperature will catch up with the time of year. Maybe I haven't been outside much so far, but I haven't even seen the colors begin to change. Still, I hope for a happy, successful October, both in writing and in business. It is Preptober, and I'm finally able to start working on prepping a book for NaNoWriMo. Fingers crossed that I can actually get farther than just a few thousand words this time around. I've struggled writing for almost two years now, but I think I'm finally starting to come out of it. |
