Was this a contest? I ask because the instructions for the blank was a strong descriptive interesting word int the blank. I can think of a list of words that would be more so that few. Just saying. I love the poem.
I know I’ve read this before—perhaps even here—but I wanted to thank you for writing it. Reading it again reminded me of something I’ve been wanting to write for quite some time.
It fits beautifully with a blog I’m planning, and it truly complements the thoughts I’ve been gathering. Your words sparked that connection for me, and for that, I’m very grateful.
Mind twirls exploring themselves in restless anticipation of dressing themselves in something new and exciting to see. Fun stuff, playing with friendly imagination as one's best friend.
So far my favourite place to write is outside at our home. We back onto bushland and a reserve known for the many different species of birds that live there. It is a hotspot for bird watchers. As we back onto it we have all those birds coming around every year at different times. The birdsong is amazing especially first thing in the mornings, you wake to it.
So so far, outside, with the view of the trees, the sounds of the birds, plus them visiting our birdbaths etc.
A fresh morning.
Life begins afresh.
Today is Sunday.
A special day, a holiday.
The day for entertainment.
Today we will go to a picnic.
It is the extreme spring.
We will go to a famous garden.
We will enjoy the whole day within floral fragrances.
When will she come?
She is already two hours late.
It is afternoon!
I'm still waiting for her.
She doesn't come.
What happened?
I call her.
It is ringing...
She hasn't picked it up.
Very surprising...
I try several times.
The result remains unchanged.
I am getting tense.
What should I do now?
I decided to call her home.
Her parents got nervous.
What happened?
Doesn't she face any accident?
The police officer was helpful.
He intimated to me that only three accidents happened.
The first two resulted negative.
I thanked God.
This is the last one.
I prayed to God.
But...
I lost my sense.
I was admitted to hospital.
How can I live without you?
Two years passed away.
I can't find her replacement.
So I remain alone.
