In my case, not that most everything you wrote doesn't apply, but the worst is the diuretic in my blood pressure pill that I can't handle and can't get the stubborn Doc to change that pill.
I stumble every morning to my coffee pot, waiting and watching it brew. It's my ritual. I could set the coffeemaker to go off before I get downstairs but then I would miss the fragrant aroma has it brews. I smell my coffee then drink my coffee... than I'm ready for whatever happens next.
My first husband was like your husband, it was challenging when one only sees negativity. Yes, building on each other strengths we will be stronger together and apart.
