I can't speak to improvements to the site programming, but there are some old-school techniques you can use. For the tabbed list in Word, if you use the beta drag & drop/simple to upload the Word file to a Static creation page, and then copy/paste from there to the forum post, you should be able to retain the indent tags in your list. If this is what you're trying to post, changing the format used in the spreadsheet to add leading zeroes will standardize the content length of the dates, which can make a difference. 03/23/2015{indent}03/29/2015{indent}Bill 03/30/2015{indent}04/05/2015{indent}Bobbie 04/06/2015{indent}04/12/2015{indent}Tanya 04/13/2015{indent}04/19/2015{indent}Cynthia becomes this -- 03/23/2015 03/29/2015 Bill 03/30/2015 04/05/2015 Bobbie 04/06/2015 04/12/2015 Tanya 04/13/2015 04/19/2015 Cynthia If that's not enough, another workaround is to use the site's monospaced font -- courier. 03/23/2015 03/29/2015 Bill 03/30/2015 04/05/2015 Bobbie 04/06/2015 04/12/2015 Tanya 04/13/2015 04/19/2015 Cynthia Using however many {s} (space) tags after variable-length text to standardize the length, you can put variable-length text in left-er columns. {font:courier} Bill{s}{s}{s}{indent}03/23/2015{indent}03/29/2015 Bobbie{s}{indent}03/30/2015{indent}04/05/2015 Tanya{s}{s}{indent}04/06/2015{indent}04/12/2015 Cynthia{indent}04/13/2015{indent}04/19/2015 {/font} becomes this -- Bill 03/23/2015 03/29/2015 Bobbie 03/30/2015 04/05/2015 Tanya 04/06/2015 04/12/2015 Cynthia 04/13/2015 04/19/2015 Since this is handwork and you're probably repeating the variable-length information the next time in some form, it makes sense to save keystrokes by making the {s} additions to the source (spreadsheet) so you only have to do that once. Hope that helps. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ~~Image #6000 Sharing Restricted~~ ~~Image #603504 Sharing Restricted~~ |
