My wife and I spent a week in a cabin near Gatlinburg, TN, a few years back just a short drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was pretty secluded, no neighbor closer than several football fields (that we could tell).

I remember thinking 'what a great place to think and write.' I need that kind of vacation this summer--at least two weeks.
