I found "Everyday Canvas "  Open in new Window. by Joy Author Icon and took a moment to read "Summer 2024" Open in new Window.:

Her Blog prompt is What are your summer plans? Joy's opinion (and since I'm getting up there in years too, so I can't fault her reasoning) is she's too old to make firm plans because they often go awry, possibly for health reasons, or just summer deciding to express its mean streak. So, she speaks of summer: what it means to humans, what it does for the cycles of earth, how it helps us. It's more than just warmer weather for us to enjoy.
