| I have a question about the font size and type. Even though every time I do a poem I change the size, the type and center it, it doesn't stay.So what am I doing wrong? Are the options suppose to go at the beginning of the post, the middle or the end? I just want to start getting it right so I can post my stuff so it is readable. Any help on learning and doing the font right and any way to make it easier would help also. Thank you to everyone who reads and anyone who replies! Have a great weekend! |
 . It would help to have a little more information to troubleshoot your problem. But I'll offer some basics and see it this will help.First, items such as font style, font size, and centering require an opening WritingML sequence AND a closing sequence. Your text that you wish to be changed with these attributes must be between the opening and the closing. That said, when you click on the font icon for Verdana in the icon bar it will look like this: {font:Verdana}|{/font}. In this case, you must place your cursor in between (as indicated by the straight line) and type your information for it to changed to Verdana. OR, if your text is already typed, you can highlight that typed information you wish changed first, THEN click on the font icon for Verdana. That will change all the highlighted text to the Verdana style. The same applies to the other icons. Please let me know if this helps. | Yes, that helped so very much. I get now why my way hasn't been working. I had no clue how to do it right but now I do. Is the size the same way? Or can I highlight it after and change the size? I am just trying to figure out how to change and make my poems look better. Thank you so much for your help I will work on it. I appreciate it so much! |
Basically some WritngML features (that's the icon bar at the top of most text windows) require a before and after command; other features, such as the Indent and adding spaces, only require the before command. It will show you HOW to use it and WHAT it looks like after using it. |
