It depends on how long the streak is. The longer it goes on, the longer I want to maintain it... if I've only maintained a daily streak of a few days, it's not such a big deal if I don't stick to it... but if I lose a streak on Day 330 (Wordle), Day 140 (WdC Daily Achivements), or Day 366 (Fitbit 10,000 steps/day challenge), it's something I usually work pretty hard to maintain, and get pretty bummed if I accidentally miss a day.
