This will be a bi-weekly contest.
** Image ID #2163760 Unavailable **

After careful consideration and a lot of out cry from others, I have decided to continue with the contest as originally designed with the exception that it will be bi-weekly instead of weekly.

Thanks to Rhoswen - Relentless Victory for the beautiful logo that graces this page.

In this contest all you have to do is write poetry based on the form given for that week. The form will change each week and be listed in the forum. The winning poem of the week will be displayed in this forum along with the next prompt. Here are the rules:

The poem has to be newly created for the round you enter. Of course, you may always use established characters in the setting of the week. Remember, most oriental poetry follows a particular theme. Thus how well those traditions are followed is judged.

Deadlines will be midnight on Friday WDC time to give the judges the opportunity to judge.

Rating of 13+ or lower please. Anything higher will be disqualified.

Prizes

The winner will receive their choice of an "Eastern Poetry" MB or a 10K awardicon. *RibbonB*

If there are more than five entries second place will be awarded. Second place will receive a "Poetry" MB.
