A Writing contest with deadly deceptions and killer competition!
This photo is not a prompt. It is just setting the mood.
Objective: Write your best murder, massacre, and mayhem story! Horror, psychological thrillers, suspense, and mysteries are all welcome!
Guidelines: Use a 3.5 or larger font. You must rate it 18+ or older. Technical skills count! Creativity, presentation, and following the guidelines all count! Your entry MUST be posted by the deadline. You must include your word count at the top of your page. There is NO word limit, but your entry should reflect the amount of time, effort, and work you put into it.
No animal cruelty, unnecessary vulgarity, or explicit sexual content!
Judging Criteria and Elements:
Technical Skills - A lot more than just grammar. Sentence structure, spelling, punctuation, cohesive flow all play a vital role in this element. Edit carefully!
Presentation - aesthetic appeal, use of fonts, italics, font sizing, paragraph spacing, everything in its rightful place, etc.
Creativity - uniqueness, quality of writing skills, style, pace, imagery, and overall unity.
Guidelines - How well were all the guidelines followed and executed?
Winners of this challenge will automatically be given one of the 25 spots in the High Stakes, reality writing competition set for September! They will also receive The Deadly Deception Merit Badge!
All entries must be submitted by Midnight on Friday, September 25, 2020.
