I'm with you Audobon, However, according to biblical literalists, if Hitler repented and took Jesus into his heart before he died, then he is now in heaven. Most of the rest of the world: Jews, Unitarians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Pagans, atheists, agnostics (and in some circles even Catholics), no matter how they led their lives, are in hell*. How this can be the workings of a loving God is beyond me.
*Someone correct me if I am wrong.
