You can gush all you want, Jon. I am! *Bigsmile* Your characters all stand on their own very well. Most are given full chapters of introduction, so the reader can get to know them intimately, so no worries there.

As well, I sense something darker in Parker. He lost someone, and it wasn't pretty. You conveyed that perfectly. It also gives the reader that push to continue on to find out more.

I loved this novel and as I said, it would be one I would buy from a bookstore, even my Hubby. I can't wait to read more.
