Here are my favorite resources that saved my bacon last year when I almost did an epic fail. #1: The one and only, Write or Die!! Whoo! Okay, this program here, practically single-handedly let me snag victory from the jaws of defeat! I did end up purchasing the stand-a-lone version only because the free web-based version was slammed there at the end of NaNo and I couldn't get in to use it. ![]() #2: yWriter5. It works real well for a free program, though I believe it's for PC only. I like it because, since it's free, I can use it on both my Netbook and my desktop PC without any worries. I liked the intuitive way it was set up. It was simple to use and could keep track of all of my characters, items, and locations without having to open up 5 thousand files. I liked the single project file that kept track of my entire book. It worked out real well. Though, I am looking at doing the beta testing for Scrivener's PC version this year. I mean, if I like it, getting it for $20 is cool. ![]() So, those were my two main programs I used from last year. I will definitely continue to use Write or Die this year. Which ever novel software I use, I'm sure I'll like it. ![]() Erin Ready for NaNoWriMo 2010!!
