A nano place to chat about NanoWrimo... |
hehehe Yeah, there's a lot there. I changed it to match what I wanted it to be. I put in pictures of the items I was going to use so I could describe them accurately later (faster than finding the images later and pulling them up with a separate program). I put in a brief message about my location (not like I'd forget, but it took time while I was procrastinating). I did put in character sketches as I had a lot of characters in my first NaNo novel and it helped me keep them all straight. It was also handy that I could link them to the chapters they were going to appear in. My chapter notes, where you can do an entire outline or whatever, I put in very brief notes like, "Here's where we meet Kathleen and Joe." That's all I work with, but it helped a lot when the story started falling in to place, but I wasn't ready to write those chapters yet. I have a tendency to jot notes down on paper that then tends to get lost. ![]() I'll admit it took me awhile to figure it out. It's bewildering at first look. But worked well once I got into it and just fiddled until I got it. However! If you know Word will work better for you, then that's definitely the way you should go. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Erin Ready for NaNoWriMo 2010!!
