A nano place to chat about NanoWrimo... |
There is a program at nanowrimo.org in which teachers guide NaNo projects-not sure if this is only at university level, or includes high school-but certainly you could get further information there, I'm sure. I really appreciate all the encouragement and ideas given in this thread. Every year I wonder how folks with full-time jobs manage to complete NaNo. I don't have one, but still sometimes it seems to take forever. I remember when I wrote successfully in MarNoWriMo 2010-I finished a novel I'd started Dec. 2009; wrote the second in the series; wrote twenty-two chapters in the third in the series. Sometimes I'd write 2500-2600 words a day-BUT I wouldn't be finished until 5 PM! So probably a lot of what I need to do is simply focus and concentrate..don't know if that will help you or not, Jesuslovingal, but it can't hurt. Do you have a writing buddy on NaNo.org yet? that might help. If you'd like, you can add me there (whenever they get that ready). I'm ice_dragoness. Also there's tons of NaNo-oriented groups and forums here on WDC. Annie/aka "Archie Standwood" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
