Re: Re: NaNO - writing without research

Thanks everyone for your input. Here's what I ended up doing: writing in large bold letters - need detailed info for design and floor plan here - need passageways and design. Then I went on, but I have to admit it was at amuch slower pace because it bothered me. I only have a vague outline for this NaNo project. I didn't even have solid characters until I dove in. I can't jump around scenes out of sequence, my mind works sequentially. I appreciate all the input and feel there is valid points to everyone's comments. I have to admit I love LP's final comment - Stop thinking and just write crap, you idiot!!
Although I don't feel it's complete crap, just a first draft, that is really rough in places. I'm sure a blow torch, and a reciprocating saw will work wonders in cleaning things up!!

So for now, I'm inserting my BOLD notes to self; glossing over particulars, even realizing that I'll have to rewrite certain scenes altogether by the time I get everything firm, and stop overanalyzing the details and write!
There's always the rewrite!
