The subject of abortion and the different view- points on marriage is another touchy issue. I know what I believe in, but will never want to discuss it my son. We got into it once and that was a very bad thing to do. We didn’t speak for a couple of weeks. Never again!
I laughed when you wrote that you were trying to signal to your husband. A Catholic is very strong in their beliefs on abortion and marriage! (I could just picture this scene). I know it wasn't funny at the time. Isn’t it sad when friendships break up over different political views? But, as I say, a very touchy subject.
Well, we are down to five republican candidates running for president. They first run each other down to the ground, then they drop out and support the person they bad mouthed. That is what Jon Huntsman did to Mitt Romney, now he's supporting him. I love politics but will never understand it.
