Coffee Lounge

Hi everyone. I have just discovered the Coffee Lounge. I'm sitting in the outpatient recovery waiting for my wife to return from her D&C surgery. We just lost our unborn baby and today we are closing the chapter on that. Moving on I am a blue collar union maintenance man in his 40's. I'm thinking that might contrast with typical poetry writing persons, not in a bad way though. If anyone has a chance to check out my poem "Just One Time" that would be great. Although we have two beautiful daughters we have also lost two children to miscarriage. As their father the poem was at least one thing I felt that I could do for them. Anyway, I just hope my peoms aren't weak and that I'm not making a fool of myself. Either way, I find it an honor and privilage to be amongst all of the artists here on this site. Thank you all.
