The only thing I can add to this, is please don't think the surgery closed a chapter in your life. It didn't. Maybe for you, I can't speak for fathers. But, for a mother, no. It takes months to move on sometimes. We still go by the cemetary where they bury the miscarried babies and leave flowers when we go to visit my husbands parents and Our loss was 20 years ago. It took me a while to feel normal again. Be there for her. Shes going to need it.
