Sniperkid I half expected you to say High Cotton by Alabama but then again that might have been a bit before your time. :) Im a bit country myself. You would love it out here. Though the only thing you are allowed to shoot my Bear and Deer with are Cameras. When we first moved out here we had so few neighbors that a coyote came up in the back yard. Daddy got pictures of it. Then a few weeks later the kids came running into the house to say there was a puppy in the front yard. I went outside to look and that puppy was actually a Bear cub. I got everyone in the house just in time for Momma to come out of the woods. But, they have sold off all the plots around us now. We don't even hear the bobcat scream anymore but I do still have my whooperwill in the summer. We have 11 acres and have only cleared about three of them for living. I love my trees and the birds and even though in the summer the crickets can get so loud you can't hear yourself think, I wouldn't live anywhere else. Even the promise of wi fi wasn't enough to get me to move to town. I am so sick of dial up. :) I agree with you on the whole why can't we just get along. I have long believed the answer was for all the generals in the world to come together put the leaders of the world all in a room together and tell them to come up with a universal peace agreement. If someone sticks their head out before giving the signal that the agreement has been met it will be shot off. If they want something more than peanut butter sandwiches and water to eat and drink they had best make it fast and oh all of you have to share a restroom. Once the agreement is made, if it is broken the citizens of the country that breaks it will be armed by the citizens of the other nations and told to have fun blasting away at the idiots that broke the treaty in the first place. Knowing that its their own lives on the line and they can't just play a big game or risk with other peoples lives might stop a bunch of them at least long enough for them to consider the outcome of what they are about to do before they do it. As you can tell My father though not very good at hunting was an avid hunter. We have always been a family of people who support our military and appreciate the sacrifices they make while feeling free enough to tell the government they are wrong to force them to make those sacrifices in this case. Daddy called it fighting for the Hero's right to be a hero for the right cause. He was a preacher and against war and violence but believed sometimes it just couldn't be avoided. But that reason could never be for water, oil, food or whatever else the bigger country needed to keep itself going.
