I cannot believe you betray us. I was trying to make a new itneractive. I had an account years ago, and was able to make interactives in the past before. Suddenly, when I tried to make a new one, I got this error message.

"The maximum number of Interactive Story items for Free Members is 0. If you've deleted Interactive Story Items from your portfolio in the past, please visit your Recycling Bin to purge them from your portfolio and make space for new ones. For complete details on our membership plans, please visit: "Compare Free and Paid Membership Benefits"

I have currently 7 interactive stories, some I just made recently. My maximum items limit is 10. I had an account and was able to make interactives on a basic account that was free before this happened, and now it wouldn't let me make any more interactives, yet in the pass I was able to do it. DId some change happened lately, because I just suddenly went from a basic to free member, and this was without a subscritpion that I never paid for before this happened.

Why cannot I create anymore interactives, despite the fact that I have the abiliity to do so in my account, and haven't reach my 10 limit yet? Is their a rule change? I am still in business you know. I still got 7 interactive stories, and yet my limit thanks to this free thing is zero, and I still have my options. So why cannot I make any more stories?

We've removed the grandfathering for free accounts as it relates to interactive creation. You're welcome to keep and continue your existing interactives, but free accounts may no longer create new ones.

Best,

When did this happened? What is grandfathering? I had to edit one of my interactives to make this new interactive happen.

January 1st, 2013 free accounts were no longer able to create interactives.

The change for accounts older than January 1st, 2013 began today.

Why wasn't we warned about it? My account was way before that.

Why wasn't we warned about it?

You mean so you could fill up your portfolio with free interactives? <--- That's why.

Sorry if I got upset. It's just came as a complete surprise. It's like a cruel April Fools Day joke. I am pretty upset still. What's next, us not being able to have interactive no more? Not that I am provoking anyone.

Yeah, I'd suggest not provoking.

Okay. But I could just edit one interactive to make a new interactive, yet destroying the one I had before it.

You can not create new. No edit restrictions.

Well I just edited one interactive, to make a new interactive, although I got rid of the one I had before that. I edit a previous interactive and made a new one. Kari is gone, and now there is a new one. I was able to break the rules and change them retroactively.

The editing thing allows for many things.
