I'm primarily a horror/psych horror writer when I write fiction (a pretty rare occurrence). Generally, I write poetry. Don't know that I'd consider it dark, but I'm sure most would. I thought most of the images this round had been fairly neutral, but maybe not. For the ones I chose, I mostly went with surrealist artwork because there tends to be lots going on in it-- fiction and blog writers can get some sort of topic from them. But they are also emotive... that is helpful for poets.
