Weeding the junk from the non-junk... always hard. Especially right after you finish a piece! I can rarely tell until the next day whether something is a decent draft or pure garbage. More time = more clarity. I sometimes try to wait to revise until it barely feels like I wrote it... that helps I think. I just did one of those 2-years-later poetry revisions a week or so ago. Still not a perfect draft, but better.

*Laugh* I wish we could review everything and make it easier for you, but man... lots and lots of reviewing that would be! I've only been commenting on a few poetry blogs because 1. they're blogs with comment sections, 2. I tend to frequent certain poetry blogs anyway and often comment... and 3. I love poetry. I think anyone else will probably get no specific feedback unless they ask? *Think*

By the way, you might want to add "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. to your favorites list. No idea when I'll run it again or in what precise form, but it may be fun for you. *Thumbsupl*
