Hello, I first found this site 10 years ago, and posted some writing on it. However, as the years went by I lost track of my password, and the original email I used to make the account (I was a freshman in high school). I'd like to delete the account, as there are some ideas I wish to expand on that I've posted... but having the original SFD copies available to read online is kind of embarrassing. I can provide the username, but I can't remember the password, otherwise I'd be able to do it on my own.

If you don't know your password and don't have access to the email address that is listed as the offsite email, then to verify your identity, you would need to fax a copy of an ID that links your first and last name on the account with the name on the ID that is faxed. The fax should include: The username of the account, a request to change the password and what the password should be changed to. The fax number is in Contact Writing.Com from Writing.Com 101 Open in new Window..

Also be sure to delete the temporary account while signed into the temporary account. The link to Close An Account is at the bottom of the page.

Hope that helps.
