I cut my teeth writing non-fiction for over thirty years. I do review non-fiction now but it has to be on a topic that interests me or something I want to learn about.

When I review non-fiction I will offer my expertise if the topic pertrains to my technical skills.
In my opinion, technical writing needs to be concise. If you can’t say it one page, you probably don’t understand the topic.
Roots and wings has a plethera of non-fiction albeit some properly falls under the heading of creative non-fiction. I do enjoy this genre and have dabbled in it from time to time. It can be great fun.
The stories are genealogically based. I can offer suggestions for what worked and didn’t and insights into possible additions; questions that were raised as I read the piece, that sort of thing. Most of the stories are facinating.
