My advice is work on length and depth because authors want feedback on how their story affected you - if you liked or identified the characters, liked the plot, etc. Tell them your overall impression of their story and what you think they could improve on.
If you spot major grammar errors, let them know and if you can tell them how to fix them. The best part of reviewing is you learn from each review you write.
