Do I need to research topic reviews, and reviewing technique ? Thats a good question, I don't really know I write as I write and my favourite author Catherine Cookson and I tend to follow her style.
I would say reading a lot would help to develope my reviews I follow the story that I'm reading and follow the advice of WDC I have the written tool on a note pad beside me. I don't use the tool in my review. I say what I have to as what I like and don't Keep the review friendly and discus and what I find with respect and always remind myself it's not my story and not be too critical of suggesting changes.
I don't think you should make the review too technical, just read the story and find what the reader needs to know.
