Thank you so much to those contestants who entered in December! While the contest did not make for December, we will still be reviewing your entries (you worked so hard on them, we can tell!), and I will get those GPs back to you soon.

This Month's Prompt

The Tortoise and the Hare is a well known Aesop's fable that has been rewritten in several versions. If you need to refresh your memory in more detail, you can do so here  .

In the most well known version of the fable, there is an arrogant hare who challenges a tortoise to a race. Overly confident of his ability to win, the hare chooses to take a nap halfway through the race, and the tortoise, slow and steady, wins the race right as the hare is waking from his nap. For our prompt this month, we would like you to take the Tortoise and the Hare fable and bring it to modern times with realistic characters and realistic situations. We will accept entries of any rating, and understand that this can go in many directions. We look forward to seeing where your mind takes you.
