Yes, I agree with these statements. Not to mention the value we as writers get from doing reviews, we learn from them, too. It's been a while since I've received a negative review, thank goodness. I'd like to think they just didn't do a review if they thought it was bad, which does me just fine. I do appreciate reviews that show a balance of what worked and what didn't. Sometimes those short reviews that say, "Great story," or "Good job" kind of discourage me because I think they're just trying to be nice.
