I agree with the posted statements. I also agree with those who have posted before me.
Reviewing can be an instrument of learning for the reviewer and reviewee. Your words of encouragement tempered with tactical criticism can be the helping hand to the next published writer.
I can't say enough for those who had read my work and given em suggestions to make it better and where I need to change. I can say without the. help of reviews from this site I wouldn't be the published author I am.
I'm no in the process of republishing my first book, my second will be on line this spring and I'm working on a couple of others.
I know when I'm asked for a review, I'm scared that I won't say the right thing. That what I say might be misinterpreted and turn off the writer. To me reviewing is something I try to find ways to say the right things. I'm still a bit nervous about reiviewing someone's work.
