Hi, River! Yes, I try to review from a reader's POV, and I always try to point out what I think works and what doesn't, as well as correcting them on any grammar and spelling issues they have. But one thing I've noticed lately is some of the real short FF pieces are confusing. These are mostly for the "Daily Flash Fiction Challenge"  which is only 300 words, so I know that's not easy, but these authors need to be as succinct in their writing as the can be to get their story across in a meaningful way. But if the contest is over and they have a good concept, then I'll encourage them to expand on it!Anyway, that's my two cents on this!  |
