I review as a reader -
1. If the writer puts me in the story, makes me taste the poem, or engage the essay, I comment to the how or why of it (and where it misses),
2. the technique - the technical (grammar, form, punctuation) is secondary - offer constructive crit and/or praise
3. unless the technical errors are so egregious as to take me out of the story, then see #1 above (comment to how/where they missed the mark)
