Amazing. If the first two paragraphs put me off that much in something I started to review with a click on the 'read & review' button, I can't stand not going to the last two, just to see how the thing ended. No matter how strange the wrap up is, my attention automatically is drawn to the middle to catch a feeling for how the thing developed.
That usually takes me to the author's portfolio to take a snapshot picture of what their writing home is like. A review takes place in my mind if not in writing a response to where I've been and what I've seen.
That's half the fun of being here on the WdC for me. Why stop at two paragraphs? I'd be losing a gift offered me.
