I've never done just a chapter review, but I think I'd see how it conforms to the rest of the story. Also, is it helping the story to move along, and what relevant/important information is being given? I've read a couple of books that were really good, but certain loose ends were never tied up in the end. From what I could tell, they had too many characters and/or too many subplots they forgot about. Or maybe they just wanted to rush it and get the story finished? Anyway, that's my opinion, and I'm stickin' to it!
