Yes, that is what I call it when anyone asks what I am doing wandering these out of the way nooks and crannies, research. Finding tidbits, quotes, sniffing out trivia and looking up ancient roots of words?

That isn't being lazy, nosey, or experiencing endless years of writer's block. I, like you, are researching resources for background of the next great masterpiece awaiting public view from this yet unknown author.
