Reviewing with River

I feel bad hearing how this all is effecting everyone. I feel bad that it isn't causing too much change in my life, or not enough as compared to others. It's kinda weird... I'm already extremely isolated, living in my lil forest. That hasn't changed. My post office where I get all my mail has lines going out the door, not enough employees (2?) to handle the work, and they often get our pkgs days before they can get them to us. That's a gripe, they need to hire more! Do they? Nope. No money, honey.

I have to wear the mask. Ugh I hate masks. But I wear it.

We were wearing gloves too, but they're only as good as long as you don't touch anything. Kinda. Good for not transmitting your germs, so long as you don't itch your face or tuck back a loose strand of hair. So I gave up there.

Our area is very small, going 30 miles into town, and many items were out of stock or price gouged at first. Now, they're mostly available. Price gouging has stopped, our stores won't sell it if it's too high. Costco is our main source: for cat food, paper towels in bulk, a lot of paper items because we've not the enrgy to clean everything. My mom and me. And our cat zoo So it required MORE going out to get the things we wanted and to find some, somewhere. We also did some deliveries for our (my moms) friends who are high risk. We wiped em down, they wiped em down, and so far so good. But we've gotten used to the multiple trips at times. I mean, if they're out of cat food, that ain't gonna fly with my 11 guys, is it? Nope.Litter. Litter keeps selling out. Buy it online, then we cancel because 2 weeks later we're still out. Lol.

I'm home anyways most of the time, so there just ins't much different. My medical procedures and visits and-- got ALL kinds of massively messed up. I was SO busy with video calls and bills and referrals these last months, truly I'm about buried in these details and I've no desire to take care of more medical stuff. Yet my arm is out... so I'm hoping to finish a few last details, then go to physical therapy. Ugh. Yay fun. Ugh. NOT wanting to go. Do the arm, but ignore the new hips needed and all that... kinda an odd prospect. Neck has a pinched nerve, causes arm to be tingly, numb, and painful.

Anyways. Really, it's made things harder, mostly. But not so hard that I feel I really have much right to complain, ya know? Life was already hard, I mean, c'est le vie. Je suis comme ci, comme ca. Whatever.

The MOST annoying and hardest thing is there's a virus going around alright, one caused by Covid but not Covid: People have forgotten how to be competent at their jobs. I've had more massive bleep bleeps and messes to clean up from people not doing their jobs. Getting my address wrong, sending my one custom compounded medication to the wrong pharmacy and then NOBODY being able to transfer it to the right pharmacy. Having to travel 140 miles roundtrip THREE TIMES to pickup said rx but it wasn't ready. No call backs. No answering phones. They're mailing the rest... and I hope they can accomplish that task right.

And I am not talkin' about anyone on the front lines. This is a loss of focus, something I think is definitely spreading around... because of the changes that keep on coming. Morales is low. I hate that. I was listening to the song America by Neil Diamond, and it did make me sad because America was all about being free and encouraging others to be free, we had a happy spirit and now we shun immigrants and well you know... I am NOT political. I stay away from the news, it stresses me out, but I read plenty of stuff. But that song, perhaps I shall post it, and you know it isn't so much a country thing my Canadian friend River and many many more friends, just the very spirit of helping one another. That isn't gone by the way, not at all! But it's been silenced much more often. Do I hold the door open for that man, or will I get snapped at for not being sixfeet away? Well, I'm still human and if they don't like it, oh well. I'll hold the door and not mind that the next person won't. That's okay. I hate having to think about such details though...

So like Jayne my dear and River and many peeps, I'm continuing to truck on. I haven't the balm of much sleep and I wish I did! Can't with the arm, it just gets worse after 5 hours in bed gotta get up. You know. So as usual, I have graphics projects, hobby projects with learning to do nails acrylic and many designs (without any artistic talent really) and continuing to put my house back together after the PE of 2018.

Good news: Lyrica is working. 5 days in, it's helping my pain. YES! Because I'm a genius (no one else supported my switch to it).
My cats get way more lovin' than before! I'm not online all day and night anymore, we read a LOT. They do enjoy a good mystery.
My mom got a new SUV and it has 19" wheels and all wheel drive so I am having a on the mountain roads that twist and turn and OMG it has NINE Bose speakers and I blast my music and it's the best. That's fun! And it'll be super snow worthy.

There are blessings. There are annoyances. But time marches on, we don't get any younger, so I just try to keep on going. I do appreciate that WdC and it's lovely peeps are still here. I did write a sad, angry poem recently. Then I felt much better. Otherwise, nothing.

I realize this turned into a blog post for the new blog I haven't had time to make yet I haven't spoken much... or to many. But still, no hoarding the cat litter!

Everyone has their crapola in life. Mine came way before Covid, as did yours River. I mean, I can't cry over all the news and the people who are suffering, I guess because I think of it like okay well they are going through their crapola now and many won't be used to being sick and having to be isolated, but for me its abnormally... normal. I wish I could help them through it, but I accept that each day is a struggle for me and it's not something I have anymore to give. Helping. But I do do a lot around here, and with my mom's eyes, I do a lot of driving Miss Daisy around

Be safe peeps. Watch a funny show! Have you heard the stimulus update guy on the you tube? He's smart, he sighs poetically, epic-ally, and he's unintentionally funny. Sylvester the cussing cat makes me laugh still... ya gotta take some mirth with you or life can kinda crush you

I freaking missed my peeps No, what is that emoti that has tears streaming and his mouth open? OMG is that only on my phone? It's happened: I've been away too long to tell! (Did I mention my phone broke today... 3 times I was hung up on or the call dropped and nobody called me back. They're my cell company. They have my number You see whata I mean? Argh! An email, would that be too hard... I need a vacation ha.)

I also need some new pics it's not Christmas anymore! LOL!
