I remember when I was new. There weren't the groups then like there are today. I didn't know about any program. I was fortunate to have someone gift me an upgrade. Because I wasn't a very good reviewer I was gently told to take a reviewing class. I did. I can't say I'm good, I try to see the good and where to improve. I feel its good to take a wander through the newbie work and find someone you can help or mentor, if they're willing. I also tend to ramble so I'll stop.
