Let's just say there were 4 privates that the sergeants took to every month to Enchende, NL to test for their driving test. I was one of them. We kept failing and failing. Then, finally on the 5th try, I dunno how I passed it, but I did. That was good enough for my sergeant who immediately put me up as the platoon driver. I was driving from Munster to Bremerhaven to Frankfurt to Primasens!
