Veterans Group is CLOSED! for NOV...
The 2025 Annual Veterans Group Challenge is now CLOSED for the rest of the November. I just want to thank everyone who posted consistently throughout the year since April when the challenge was revamped. Over the course of the next few days I'll be adding up totals and consulting with the Awards Cadre 🌻 pwheeler ~ love joy peace Author IconMail Icon and Soldier_Mike Author IconMail Icon to determine the prizes for the annual challenge so I want to thank you in advance for your patience. I'm hoping to have all the awards done by Thanksgiving. (crossing fingers!) And DEC 2025 will start our New Annual Challenge for 2026.

Again, A BIG THANKS to everyone who stayed with and participated in the Veterans Group Challenge. We had lots of changes this year - 2025 started off with Old Monty at the Helm and then our Fantastic 🌻 pwheeler ~ love joy peace Author IconMail Icon took over and started the challenge we know today. I took over in June and tried to add a little more so as to engage community members, and while we haven't really gained members, there's more interaction - from the Roll Call, the Discussion board, the Merit Badge Challenges and the newly created Recruiting Hero and Veterans Resilience Merit Badges.

2026 is hoping to build on 2025's successes, poems, stories, engagement, and even if you aren't a veteran or don't have any affliation with the armed forces of your country, we still want you to pop on over and check us out. Give us ideas. I know I'm very heavy on the U.S. Military and themes, but you have suggestions about your country's armed forces, give me a shout out and we'll get it going.

Again, thank you so much for making 2025 Veterans Group Challenge a vibrant and active place and thank you for your patience. Awards are coming soon!
