We continue this chapter on an empty highway in the sunny and cloudy sky with wind blowing and birds chipping, then the ground begins trembling with every step, we then see a giant foot covering the lengths of the highway along with the flying car following the female giant. Helen was feeling the breeze of the earth, something she hadn't felt since leaving Houston, she looked around the saw nothing but small houses nearby and animals eating hay. Helen then decides to take a tour of her surroundings. her giant feet create holes for the cows and horses to walk on and Ryley notices that she might've stepped on a few animals, Helen notices it by saying "Oops," as she tries her best to not step on the animals. Ryley uses her car techniques to find a house nearby, the car then tells her of a ranch nearby. Meanwhile, a 17-year-old white boy wakes up late from his sleep and hears tremors getting closer causing his stuff to fall "What the heck was that an earthquake?" he questions. The young man gets a chance to investigate outside, grabbing his casual things he rushes to open the door to find a giant foot from a woman just a few yards ahead of him, not only that but a flying car park beside his car.
"Why is there a giant foot in my area," he questions: "that giant foot belongs to my auntie sir," says Ryley coming out of the car. "Whoa who are you and you are telling me that your giant sister is right there," the boy says shockingly. "Well technically she isn't my sister she is older but yeah, this giant is with me, I'm Ryley by the way," she reveals. "James, James Pen, nice to meet you, stranger," the boy says. They then feel movement from the titan as she sits down winding her legs on the grass. James looks at the black woman, shocked that she isn't young "Hmm, I didn't think a woman in her 40s would be a giant," he says. "well lucky for you I'm a gentle giant young man," Helen states. Ryley stares at him feeling something she hasn't felt since school, love. James looks at her with the same feeling, James asks her if she wants something to drink and she says yes please, they go inside the house while Helen gets up and finds somewhere to use the restroom. The young people begin to feel tremors. "is she going to leave you," "No, she just went to use the bathroom," Ryley says.
"so you're not from around her," James questions her. "I'm from Texas basically, we just left to I don't know to explore the U.S," she says. "are you sure because there are still people living in America despite some moving to different states and Antarctica," "Yeah I know, were just trying to find a place where its least populated," says Ryley. "Well, I do know there is one city in America that has around 700 people, while the others are more than a thousand," "Really James what is it?" Ryley asks him. "Boston: Massachusetts," he said. Ryley begins questioning the possibility of moving to a state, Texas will always have a special place in her heart but it's time for a change and Boston seems more like a suitable city for them to check out. James then asks Ryley if she wants to stay for dinner, She then again thinks about this, thinking that she might find her man, and she accepts. Dawn came in with Helen sitting down to watch the sunset, Ryley putting on some different clothes while James was preparing dinner.
Ryley enters the kitchen with James having Sausage pasta with cooked French Bread and vegetables. The 2 begin their conversation and it only gets interesting the farther it goes, the sun is going down and the giant woman is yawning from exhaustion and says "Ohh, I'm getting tired, I better find somewhere to sleep," she gets up and walks towards Jame's house. Ryley and James heard her tremors as they shook the food on the table, "oh Ryley," says Helen. "would you come out here please, I need to talk to you," she says. "Excuse me," says Ryley. She gets out of the house to see Helen on her knees coming down and tells her, "Do you want to stay here for tonight or?" Helen questions, Ryley insists that they should stay for tonight and Helen agrees, she goes back inside and hears tremors from Helen as she begins walking Thoom Thoom Thoom. After Dinner, James offers her to sleep in his guest bedroom while he sleeps in his room. the 2 said good night and off they slept.
