There was a few moments
Of silence before the natives
started yelling and panicking.
They were shouting an incomprehensible
language at her and suddenly began
pelting her with a barrage of
spears and arrows.
At 1st they merely tickled but
soon they began to feel like
bee stings.
Janice immediately turned around
and began running back through
the trees or more like crashing
through them.
Janice ran for a good
15 or 20 minutes before noticing
that she was starting to get winded
and it was harder to knock
down some of the trees.
She stopped and looked up to
her horror.
What she saw confirmed her earlier
fears.
She had indeed been shrinking.
Now the tops of the trees and
tree branches were a good
15 to 20 feet above her head.
Janice sat down next to a
Cliff and a cave she was still
to big to enter.
Janice began to ponder things.
1st she had become huge
Then she fled pretty far to this
strange island and though
she was still a giant she was
shrinking at some unknown pace.
She didn’t wanna harm anyone
But if she was being honest
she wanted to explore being
BIG. It was curious and as she
thought about it kinda turned
her on.
She thought about exploring
with what time she might have
left BIG.
Then she feared the villagers
Or worse them monsters from
before. If her strength and size
were fading it stood to reason
her invulnerability wouldn’t last
either.
Should she hide?
Should she dare attempt to
Go back home and find what
grew her huge in the 1st place?
On the other hand as she didn’t
wanna harm or scare people.
Should she try finding a way
to shrink faster then approach
the locals when she’s normal size?
Try and find a way to star big
or get bigger again?
Many thoughts swarmed in her
Mind then she decided ___
