"Hey, whats going on?" Shane asks dazed for some reason.
"I'm taking you to a special school, where they will teach you to use your power," she explains, still in a bored voice.
"Oh, because I was wondering why you didn't run away screaming," he says, still feeling like he is missing something vital, usually he wouldn't have gone into the car, but when he thought about it he stopped thinking about it. As if he had ran out of thought for that time, and everything seemed natural. Like he SHOULD be their.
"Even if I didn't know about the powers people can posses," she explains, as if talking to a child, "I don't think that I would run around screaming, for one, I am old as you see and can't go running around all crazy. And two, not everyone is your steriotype citizen, everyone has different reactions to different situations,"
"Oh," Shane said simply, like before usually he would have more to say, but he couldn't think of it.
They two sit for awhile in silence. Shane is bored out of his mind but for some reason he doesn't want to say anything. It's a strange feeling. The weird thing is, he would usually think he would be pretty annoyed. But for some reason he is just content (but somehow bored at the same time) to just sit their.
Shane decided that he didn't want to be silent, no matter how strange this is. So he started the conversation up again. "So what is your name?" he asks, feeling proud that he fought back the feeling,"
"Its Ann," she says in an annoyed voice.
Suddenly Shane grasps it, he shouldn't be here and he should be asking more important questions. "Hey do you have any powers?" he asks.
"Yes," she says.
"What can you do?" Shane asks.
"Actually, I can make people to do almost anything I want, which is how I got you in here, actually most people can't struggle past the first wave I send toward them, but maybe your just stubborn," she explains.
"Oh," Shane thinks that there was a compliment somewhere in their, but the feeling came back again. He didn't fight it this time.
