She reached out to touch her face, marveling at the new sensations. "Wow... this is real," she whispered. "I actually did it."
The genie, still shimmering softly in her bottle on the table, looked at her with a mixture of hope and gratitude. "Thank you," she said softly. "But now, I need your help to free me. There’s a way—"
Daniel, now a woman, scratched her head in bewilderment. "I want to help you, but I have no idea how. I found that old book about Salem’s magic, but it’s full of confusing symbols and instructions. I don’t even know where to start."
The genie nodded patiently. "There are rituals and tasks that only a female can perform. The key is in a specific spell, but it’s incomplete. You must find the sacred relic and perform the final part of the ritual—only then can I be free."
Daniel looked at the glowing bottle, then back at her reflection. "Great. So, I need to find some relic in Salem and figure out a magic ritual... no pressure." She chuckled nervously. "I wish I knew more about magic and how to do this."
The genie’s eyes sparkled. "There might be a way—there’s an ancient shrine hidden in Salem’s woods. It’s said to hold the relic you need. But beware, the path is dangerous and full of illusions."
Daniel clenched her fists, feeling a newfound resolve. "Alright, then. I guess I’d better start looking. If I can be the one to set you free, I’ll do whatever it takes."
With that, she stepped out into the evening, determined to uncover Salem’s secrets and find the relic that could break the genie’s curse—and, perhaps, discover something new about herself along the way.
