Unfortunately for Helen, her body betrayed her while trying to stand her ground. Helen first felt herself get wet and warm, “no, no, no,” Helen thought to herself as she tried in vain to stop her body, only to feel solids entering the back of her pull-up.
“Someone’s quiet all of a sudden,” Mike commented.
Helen could only try to hide her shame, but it didn’t take long before Amelia figured out what was going on. Amelia sniffed the air, “something smells me,” the tween announced, “that someone needs a change, nurse!”
The nurse from before came back into the room, “how may I help you?” she inquired.
“My mo…” Amelia stopped, “I mean,” she grinned, “my little sister needs a change; where can we find some more pull-ups?”
“My, what a responsible big sister,” the nurse praised, “there are more pull-ups in the nightstand.”
“Thank you,” Amelia responded as she got another pull-up out of the nightstand, and the nurse went back to the hall. Helen saw her daughter take the pull-up into the light, and she tried to crawl away, “Where do you think you’re going, Stinky?”
“No change,” Helen argued.
“Yes, change,” Amelia responded, “you don’t want to get a nasty rash, do you?” Helen tried to get away but only got as far as the edge of the bed before Amelia grabbed her, “no, no, no,” Amelia wagged her finger as she laid out a plastic mat on the bed, “we can’t have little Helen getting a mean old rash.” Helen continued to struggle as Amelia put her on the mat but being an experienced babysitter, the tween was more than prepared for changing a fussy toddler, “all done,” Amelia proclaimed as she fixed her hair from Helen’s kicking, “and I think that someone has earned a time-out when we get home.”
“Bitch!” Helen yelled.
Amelia gasped, “and a bar of soap to clean her mouth.”
“Okay, you two,” Mike proclaimed. Mike had been silent during the ordeal (he always had avoided diaper changes), “right now….”
