Aya was in the medical ward, resting. Daniel and Maeda with her. Annoyed by government scientist trying to extract sample from the ultimate being inside of her. Much to her surprise, everytime they tried to extract using needles or injection guns to extract cells. Their hands would burst into flames! Their instruments melting as they dropped them.
"Apparently, it knows you want to harm it. "Maeda explained to the scientists.
"We need samples to prevent another catastrophe like this!" yelled the lead scientist. " That way we can take preemptive measure in case something like this happens again!"
"You guys want to create super army made of the these things!" Daniel yelled in anger.
They denied it but Maeda could tell. "They must've researched about what happened in Japan. I mean considering the destructive power it has. But if you can't clone it as you see it has a mind of it's own. It knows what you're trying to do. You should be lucky we aren't all in flames thanks to Aya." Maede folloed.
It wasn't that far from the truth. Aya was already sleeping, tired from the battle. Maeda didn't dare try to do what those scientists tried to do. The scientists mumbled in anger as they exited the medical bay.
The battleship was heading back to shore as cleanup and fixing the statue of liberty was all in the news. Aya woke up a few hours later as it was morning. She saw Maeda was sleeping on another bed beside her. Daniel was no where to be found.
Aya then noticed something odd with her belly. "Is it smaller? What's going on? Better ask Maeda."
"Maeda? Wake up!" Aya yelled as Maeda stirred in his sleepy getting his glasses then looking at Aya as he pushed himself upright.
"Oh good morning Aya! How are you feeling?" He asked.
"I'm okay..but something is strange going on in my stomach." Aya said as they looked at it.
"Hmmmm..it looks like it shrunk a bit." Maeda said, giving his thoughts. "If I can get cell samples from you. I can figure out what exactly is going on. I have a hunch it's due to your cells."
Aya told Maeda to get an injection gun as he set it to extract. Strangely, it didn't burst into flames like with the scientists. He watched Aya extract from the ultimate being as it squirmed inside of Aya. She tossed Maeda the gun. Strangely, despite having her's and it's cells inside of the ampule. He didn't burst into flames.
"Interesting..." Maeda thought.
He took the tube and put it on a dish. Then pushed it to a nearby microscope.
"This is fascinating!" Maeda said happily as he began to write down his results on a piece of paper nearby.
"What is, Maeda?" Aya asked curiously as she calmed down the ultimate being.
