Chapter #13

An Aunt's Skin-Deep Confession

    by: Nostrum Author IconMail Icon
It’s hard to stomach your actions while tapping Julia’s mind, but you figure letting Jimmy indulge a little will make your next move easier. You didn’t expect he’d be so extreme about it.

You don’t know how long you’ve been ruining Heather’s panties (why go specifically for that, you wonder) but you’re sore and hurting once you finish. You can't help but admire his perverted dedication; as soon as he felt the first orgasm, he double-dipped them with reckless abandon.

But nothing compared to what he did to the one Heather was currently wearing. He asked you to stain it as well, and when you told him that was going too far, he decided to piss on it, daring you to stop him. Do siblings in Jimmy’s family tend to dislike each other so much?

“I think I’m out,” you tell him as you leave, carrying the pens to Julia’s room. “You went too far, man. I’ll be taking a bath while you finish... whatever you wanna do.”

That’s enough to distract him from his childish and ruinous antics. “What’s wrong? I thought we were having fun! Also – it's not the time to go all moralistic, because--”

“Jimmy, how much you know about your dad?” Perhaps it’s because you told him in his mother’s voice, but he stops everything he does and stares at you.

“Dude, you know something about him?”

“I know most of what your mom knows. Can’t really describe him--” As Julia drops an information dump on how grotesque he looks, you realize that doesn’t give you enough to make a mental image. “Correction - I can, but note that your mom may be way too angry with him.”

“Anything could be better than nothing,” It doesn’t take his mother’s mind to realize that hurts him a lot. Of course, Julia retorts harshly (“better for you to know nothing than know that monster!”), but you can’t help feeling sympathy for his plea.

“You might not like the news, though.” You approach him, throwing your arm around him. “I figured this’d be better to stomach if I humored you with whatever prank you wanted to do.”

“I don't get it. What’s so bad you’re humoring me after pranking me so hard? You only do this when you’re--”

“You’ve mentioned your mom and aunt are very competitive, right?”

“Yeah.”

“Ever wondered why?”

Jimmy tilts his head in confusion. “I thought you’d know. Aren’t all siblings competitive?”

“That’s the point – Nick and I are competitive, but not to the extent your mom and aunt do. And sometimes I complain about my sisters but in the end we’re still siblings. I wouldn’t do something as bad as what your aunt did to your mom to any of them.”

Your friend’s look grows worrisome. “Dude, are you pranking me again?”

“No, man. I put on your mom to prank you, but after hearing your aunt and what your mom thinks about her? I put her on just to get one on her for your mom’s sake.”

“I know Auntie Nessie and Mom doesn’t always get along, but I also know you wouldn’t tell me that if it wasn’t serious. How’s this related to my dad?”

You still feel you shouldn’t, but as you grab the brown pen, you figure there’s no going back. “It’s gonna be better if you could ask your aunt directly.”

“You mean, you’re gonna make me tap into her mind, right?”

“Yeah. And as I tell you, you’ll ask her and figure if it’s right or not.” You click on the pen, knocking him unconscious. It doesn’t take long for him to awaken, but the expression on his face resembles his aunt more than it does his.

“Ugh... Must have drunk too much wine...” Jimmy looks at you in shock. “Julie! What are you doing naked?”

“Nessa, what’s the last thing you remember?”

“Talking to you, of course. We were...” After a pause, Jimmy’s tone fills with doubt. “...discussing. You called me out on something, but then you showed me...” He looks at the pen, gasping. “You were showing me that pen! And then, you ask me if I’m alright, and next thing I know, I’m here!”

“So glad you’re alright. Anything else?”

“No, not really. Except...” He winces, touching his forehead. “Why does my vagina hurt so much?”

“I’ll explain later. One more thing. You say Jimmy’s your favorite nephew, but be honest. You prefer Heather instead because you prefer girls, don’t you?”

“Of course, but I wouldn’t tell hi--” He looks at you, then his eyes grow wide, then he gasps. “...Well, it makes sense, I’m her only nephew. But still, man! What the hell?”

Guess skins don’t store memories... “That’s what your mom thinks.”

“Yeah, she told me.” He swipes his hair off his face, a trait you recognize is from Vanessa as Julia herself confirms. “And I was kinda recalling Mom had a talk with... No. You were talking with Auntie Nessie just now, right?”

“If it’s about their discussion regarding your dad? Yeah, pretty much.”

“But she claims Dad wanted Mom to give him a chance. Why wouldn’t Mom want to?”

You tell him everything you recall from Julia’s tale – how she got drunk, how she was Bradley’s fiancee but after the unexpected pregnancy she had to abandon him for Dennis, the reasons for their divorce, and you also confirmed how he wanted a second chance, which is what ultimately led to Jimmy’s birth.

You notice how Jimmy shakes his head as you tell him that, and ask him to keep all questions for when you finish a couple times. Once you finish, you finally allow him to speak. “What’s she telling you?”

“That Dad wanted Mom to give him a chance. That Dad was honest. That... that Dad still loves Mom.”

“If you saw it from your mom’s perspective, you’d understand.”

“That’s the point. I asked her about her conversations with Uncle Brad. And I believe you when you told me Auntie Nessie was aiming to be with Uncle Brad instead of Mom. But... she believes Dad really wants that second chance.”

“I told you – your mom gave him that chance, but he kept doing the same things that--”

“I’m not doubting you on that! What I’m telling you is that Auntie Nessie really believes Dad wants another chance and is pushing Mom on it. There’s no big reason behind it. And I get why she wants Mom to.”

“Why?”

“Seems Dad’s gotten a nice, cushy job at Tyneside that pays him a lot. She claims Dad’s still single – and Auntie Nessie insists it’s because he still loves Mom.”

He’ll do the same thing, Julia tells you. As soon as he gets drunk again, he’ll--

“Auntie Nessie also says that she bets Mom’s thinking he’ll never change, so she claims Dad’s gone through AA and has been sober for over five years.” He looks at you, mortified. “I get why Mom wouldn’t want me to meet Dad, especially since he never looked for us--”

He couldn’t, Julia confesses. I filed a restraining order. Can’t be within 100 yards of myself or my house. Can’t make calls. And he gave away his right to be a father in court.

“Did your mom tell you she filed a restraining order against him?”

“No, never.” He thinks deeply, arguably questioning his aunt. “And Auntie Nessie knows about it.”

“Apparently, he surrendered his custody to your mom--” I say “gave away” but I had to fight tooth and nail to prevent it. “Uh, scrap that. Your mom says she had to fight for your sole custody.”

“I get why.” Jimmy scratches his – or rather, Vanessa’s - eyes and grimaces. “You’re telling me Uncle Brad could’ve been my dad? And instead, I got a dad who wants to see me, but Mom doesn’t want to forgive because he fucked up badly?”

“I’d say ‘that’s the gist of it’ but there’s more. You know how she can be harsh with you?”

“No need to tell me about it. I bet you know – you really scared me back then.”

“She does that because she’s afraid you’ll end up like your dad. If you weren’t a troublemaker, she wouldn’t be so worried. And your mom...” You feel Julia’s emotions flooding you, and you bring him closer, hugging him. “You mind if I act like her for a while?”

“It’s gonna be weird, but... Sure.”

You close your eyes and let her talk. “You’re everything to me. Dennis had his chance, but he didn’t care. If it were for me, I’d never let you see him, ever. I...”

You chuckle, as it’s hard to tell what Julia wants when you’re seeing Vanessa’s face instead. “There’s a lot of Dennis in you, Jimmy. I’ve done everything I can to get rid of it. But one thing he wasn’t, and won’t be, is a prankster as you – and I don’t care if Nessa doesn’t like that. I’d prefer you weren’t, but if you’re going to, might as well take it on creeps like him.”

“Is that what Mom thinks?”

“Pretty much,” you say as his comment breaks your acting. “Oh, and I dunno if she’s being honest or not, but she says Vanessa suits you.”

“Well...” You see Jimmy acting absurdly girly and proud. “When you’re someone like me, I can make anyone look good.”

You grin at him, noticing it’s still early enough. “How about we drink a little wine before we turn everyone back?”

--

“Let him sleep,” you tell your mom after stopping briefly by your room. “He doesn’t feel too well. You can store his food – he promised he’d eat it tomorrow.”

“But what’s wrong?” your mom asks. You’ve been posing as Tina since before you turned Heather, Julia and Vanessa back, letting Jimmy handle everything else. And you decided you’d spend the rest of the day as her, rather than have her question what happened. “I want to see him.”

“It’s alright, Mom – he's just tired.” You grasp her arm gently. “I’ll take care of him, alright? Maybe that way he’ll realize I care for him.”

“Alright,” your mother agrees. “But if he’s not alright by tomorrow, we’re going to the hospital.”

As tempting as it may be, you settle for turning her back once everyone’s asleep. After dinner, you move to your room, feigning checking on yourself. You check your phone, only to notice a cryptic text.

[Mom deserves better. Catch me up 2morrow. I got a plan.]
